There are a few things we generally recommend the day of your treatment:
One of our therapists will be in touch on text message or with a courtesy call to see how you are feeling.
If you have received a remedial treatment, you can expect to feel muscle soreness from your treatment, very similar to the muscle soreness you get when you exercise. Toxins are released when performing trigger point therapy and can contribute to this muscle soreness you may experience.
Ensure that you continue to drink plenty of water!
You may feel lethargic and honestly a little worse for wear! This is totally normal but if you are concerned, always contact your therapist to discuss. Part of your treatment is releasing toxins from the muscles and this can contribute to this unpleasant feeling. Don’t worry, it will pass!
