Wondering if Chiropractic is for you and what it's all about?
Take a look at the info below! We also have an FAQ where you can ask away.
We offer both private health fund rebates, Medicare upon referral, DVA and WorkCover.
Chiropractic is an allied health profession that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of biomechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the impact these disorders may have on the nervous system and a person's overall general health. We must register with AHPRA after completing a 5 year undergraduate and masters degree with a registered tertiary provider.
Whilst being widely known for our adjustive techniques, our Chiropractors use any of the following techniques when considering your care:
We apply these techniques after a thorough history, examination, and discussion of what we think may be going on and how any combination of these techniques may be beneficial based on your individual presentation.
We are so much more than simply adjustments!
Chiropractic is for everybody, not just those who suffer from chronic lower back pain. We deal with acute injury, chronic pain, and everything in the middle. History and clinical assessment guide our decision-making, which we base on the best available and up-to-date evidence on a variety of interventions. We use many of the techniques listed above with the option for dry needling or kinesio/rigid taping.
So, you booked in for your first chiropractic session? Congratulations! We have compiled a little list of things you can expect from us before, during and after your session. We can’t wait to see how we might be able to help you!
You will receive a confirmation text the day prior confirming the date and time of your appointment. All you need to do is confirm Yes to secure your booking. Should you be unable to make your appointment, please refer to our cancellation policy.
There are a few things we generally recommend the day of your session:
Our Chiropractors will contact you to check in on how your body is feeling after your first session. This is usually done through a phone call or may be done via a text message as well if we are unable to speak with you directly. This is your opportunity to ask questions and chat for a few moments with your Chiropractor before your next follow-up session, where you will be given a report back to you their findings and working diagnosis.
it is important to again stay well hydrated after your first session and moving within your pain free thresholds.
