If you’re new to chiropractic care, welcome! You’re in the right place.
Chiropractic is a regulated allied health profession focused on assessing, diagnosing, and managing conditions related to the muscles, joints, and nervous system. Whether you're managing pain, recovering from injury, or looking to improve how your body moves, chiropractic may be part of the solution.
In Australia, chiropractors complete a minimum of five years of university-level education, including advanced training in anatomy, clinical assessment, manual therapies, and rehabilitative care. All chiropractors are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Chiropractic care focuses on how your joints, muscles and nervous system work together to support movement.
Care may include assessment, hands-on techniques, and movement-based strategies to support how your body functions.
At Jump For Joy Health, we take the time to understand your body, your goals, and your lifestyle. Your first appointment involves a thorough health history, physical assessment, and a clear explanation of what we find. From there, we’ll guide you through the appropriate next steps, always with your informed consent.
While chiropractic is often associated with spinal adjustments, our approach goes far beyond that. We blend hands-on therapy with movement strategies, rehab, and patient education to support long-term outcomes, not just short-term relief.
We see people from all walks of life, from athletes to active families, desk workers to tradies, and we’re here to support your movement, function, and recovery, whatever your lifestyle or activity level.
Chiropractic care is more than one technique, it’s a whole-person approach to better health.
Chiropractic care may be suitable for people looking to move better, manage discomfort, or return to activity after injury, whether that’s in the gym, at work, or day-to-day life.
We assess movement, load, and function to help guide your care.
Our clinical decisions are guided by a thorough history, physical assessment, and the latest evidence-based research. Your care plan is tailored to your needs and goals. It may include a combination of manual therapy, rehabilitative exercise, and supportive techniques such as dry needling or kinesiology/rigid taping, especially useful for those with high physical demands.
At Jump For Joy Health, we support bodies in motion, on the field, in the gym, at work, or at home. We want to provide care that helps you build strength, restore balance, and stay in control of your health.

Chiropractic care is not one-size-fits-all, and not every approach is suitable for every person.

You're booked in for your first chiropractic session?
Here’s a quick overview of what to expect before, during and after your session.
You’ll receive a confirmation text the day before your appointment, including the date and time. Simply reply Yes to lock in your booking.
If something comes up and you can’t make it, please refer to our cancellation policy for next steps.
You’ll also be sent a link to your intake form. If you can fill it out before you arrive, that’s super helpful—it gives your chiropractor a head start on understanding what’s going on and how we can best help you.
There are a few things we generally recommend the day of your session:
Following your first appointment, one of our chiropractors will check in—usually via text—to see how you're feeling. You're welcome to reply to the message or request a quick call if you’d like to chat or ask any questions.
This provides an opportunity to check in before your follow-up session, where we’ll go through your Report of Findings, including your working diagnosis and next steps for care.
We also recommend staying well-hydrated and keeping your body gently moving within your pain-free range. A little movement goes a long way in helping your body adjust and settle after your first treatment.
